Udo joined LAKE PLACID in 1978. The former drummer suddenly left the band, although they had to play an important concert three weeks later at the high school in Osterholz-Scharmbeck (D). Detlef phoned Udo in his hometown Hambergen, he came to visit the band and ... said YES. The beginning of a lifetime friendship.
Udo is an awesome drummer with an excellent intuition for song-convenient drumming, but ... when he really shows his power, the potentiometer will
"fly out of the FOH".
Udo plays SONOR-drums for more than 40 years now and is a real friend of Sonor-boss Karl-Heinz Menzel.
